I use a mac too and I have downloaded everything imaginable. It is the codec that she uses. I have to watch them on my old PC. If you find anything that works, please let me know

For the video - try VLC Player. It's cross-platform and has the codecs built in to play almost anything. It's free. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

| I can get it play but cannot see any image. It must be an old WMV version. I have Flip for Mac and it converts WMV files and plays them with Quick Time.
I have no problem playing any WMV files ever.
May be she should upgrade to the newer version. Windows Media is free download.
The file changes name when down loaded to some random numeric value but you can add .wmv, it converts to Quick Time, you can play it but no image. Definitely a version issue, I think.
Good to know there fellow Mac's here.
